Our flagship software, Arkeia Network Backup, today supports 150 platforms including Linux, Macintosh, Netware, UNIX, and Windows systems. We deliver hot file backup modules for a dozen popular applications (like Exchange and Lotus Domino servers), database management systems (like ORACLE and MS SQL), and virtual machine environments (like VMware ESX). Our backup servers can be managed either via our web-based GUIs or via command-line interfaces.
We offer single-backup-server solutions for small companies, as well as federated, WAN-distributed, multi-server solutions for mid- and large-scale enterprises. According to customer requirements, Arkeia Backup Servers can be deployed as a software application, as a physical appliance, or as a virtual appliance.
Of course, whether your deployments are virtual appliances, physical appliances, software applications, or heterogeneous, all our products mesh seamlessly. Install Arkeia Backup Agents on client machines and deploy the backup server as a traditional Software Application. If you migrate your Backup Servers to virtual or physical appliances, you don't need to modify the Agents.
