Arkeia Options
Application & Database Hot Backup Modules
Arkeia Software has developed a series of options to enable online backup of a wide range of applications and databases, without ever having to take the application or database off line. Modules are available to perform live backup of widely used applications such as Lotus, Open-Xchange (including SLOX), LDAP, and MS Exchange, as well as leading databases such as Oracle, mySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, and MS SQL.

- Mac NetInfo database: Arkeia Mac OS X client executes hot backup of the system NetInfo database
- Novell NDS & NSS: Netware client can perform hot backup of the Novell Directory Services (NDS) and Novell Storage Services (NSS)
- Open File Manager: Working in conjunction with Open File Manager (Saint-Bernard Software) Arkeia Network Backup and Arkeia Smart Backup can access open files in Microsoft Windows and Novell NetWare environments to make backups without interrupting workflow
Arkeia Software offers a flexible interface with command line access and control. As a result, may options exist to enhance its integration in the whole backup policy (http://www.arkeia.com/hotbackup/others).
